The manager refunded the cost of the pasta (wish I could have reduced the tip), but BEWARE of this location if you have food allergies or a specific diet. I explained that a member of my party has lactose intolerance and that we were assured on four separate occasions that the mac and cheese was vegan. I asked the manager, who told me that the mac and cheese was not vegan, that they had gotten rid of that item. We paid for our meal but we’re concerned because the mac and cheese did not seem to be vegan. I then asked our waitress if the mac and cheese was vegan, and she-for a fourth time-said it was. We asked another waiter if it was vegan he said he was going to check with the kitchen, but never returned with an answer. I will never again visit one of these restaurants - and sadly the food was tasty. The employees here have ZERO idea of what customer service is. The manager said, "that's his opinion, not mine." So she was lying to us. Also the bartender told my husband that they can absolutely credit customers for food in there is a negative experience. "Who do you work for? Don't you have to follow policies?" When we went to the bar to pay (because surprise they never brought the check, the manager told us we had disrespected her.
